The most important thing about a Royal Enfield is its engine. In case of the Classic 350, it is a 346 cc single cylinder mill that does the powering duty, and exhales 19.8 bhp @ 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 28 Nm @ 4000 rpm. This power plant is mated to a 5-speed gearbox that supplies all this torque to the rear wheel. All the aforementioned power and torque figures, along with the bikes heavy weight of 187 kg, make sure that the Classic 350 feels planted even while cruising at its top speed of 130 km/h. The bike has a relatively taller seat height of 800 mm, but we all know that Royal Enfield`s are meant for well-built riders, so this higher seat placement isn’t really an issue for majority of the buyers. Want to take your Classic 350 to untouched lands? Go ahead. The sufficient ground clearance of 135 mm will ensure that the bike’s underbelly doesn’t scrap anywhere on your voyage.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Dimensions
Overall Length2180 mmOverall Width790 mmOverall Height1080 mmGround Clearance135 mmSeat Height800 mm
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a fairly large motorcycle. Measuring 2180 mm in length, 790 mm in width and 1080 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 1370 mm, the bike doesn’t appear to be easily maneuverable in city traffic. These bigger dimensions, along with the 187 kg weight, is the reason that you generally don’t see Royal Enfield riders maneuvering around in tight gaps in traffic lights.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 suspension and brakes
The Classic 350, like many other bikes from the Royal Enfield stable, has 35 mm telescopic forks at the front, which provide a total wheel travel of 130 mm. The rear suspension setup includes a gas filled 5 step adjustable shock absorber, though it doesn’t get preload adjustment. Braking duties on this bike are handled by a twin piston caliper, 280mm front disc brake, while the rear wheel gets a 153 mm drum brake. It is high time that Royal Enfield provides a disc at the rear wheel too, especially since all other bikes in this price bracket come with disc brakes all around.
